  2. Arrange banana slices over one half of the peanut butter.
  3. Sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top of the banana slices, and fold the lavash bread in half.
  4. Spray a large sauté pan or griddle with non-stick cooking spray, and heat over medium-low heat.
  5. Place the lavash bread in the warm pan or griddle, and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  6. Slice into triangles with a knife.

I wanted to include some tips and suggestions, not rules, to improve your lavash bread quesadilla experience. You’ll thank me after your done wiping all of the chocolate off of your face.

  • Spread a generous amount of peanut butter onto your lavash bread, because this is the glue that holds the quesadilla together.
  • Don’t slice your banana too thin, you want some height and filling to the quesadilla.
  • Sprinkle a good amount of dairy-free dark chocolate chips. I mean, they’re chocolate chips after all.
  • I used my favorite creamy peanut butter, but you can certainly use crunchy peanut butter.
  • Whole grain lavash bread works perfectly in this recipe and feel free to use two, top and bottom, to hold together better.
  • You can certainly replace the banana with strawberries, or even add them to the combo.
